Here's a quick update on Northwoods, for those of you we haven't had the chance to talk to lately.

We've done such a good job promoting Titan CMS v4 and our web design practice that it's easy to overlook the fact that at the heart of Northwoods is excellent software engineering.  Here are just a few of the tricky problems we've helped our clients solve with software engineering and development: 

• Mobile Sales Force Application – Alpine Insulation has streamlined their sales force with Tablet PCs and daily uploads of sales quotes to Alpine's business software, saving hours of data entry.
• Annuity/Insurance Policy Processing – Our web based .Net applications are allowing clients to significantly streamline their services with intuitive web-based front ends integrated into backend databases.
• Product Mix Calculator – VitaPlus had us convert their CD ROM algorithm engine to a .Net web application.  The new tool allows VitaPlus customers to go on-line and create the optimal mix of feed to maximize their investment in swine production.
• Employee Intranet – Our Titan CMS v4 supports Ziegler Companies new Intranet. The project required a great deal of application development to accommodate customized document management as well as integration with existing systems. See Testimonial

We have also been out and about promoting and applying our best practices which has led to:

• ACEC of Wisconsin (American Council of Engineering Companies) recently recognized our efforts in conjunction with Bonestroo for the website we implemented for the Sheboygan County Stormwater Outreach Initiative.
• MTEA recently upgraded their website on Titan CMS v4 to allow their membership to search and retrieve extensive contract information.  See testimonial
