With offices throughout the country, the Ziegler Companies faced a significant challenge ensuring that documents critical to its various business operations were up to date and readily available.

The Ziegler Companies found a solution to the problem in a corporate intranet developed by Northwoods Software on it's own TitanCMS Document Management.

One of the features of the company's new intranet is a document watch that announces when updated versions of documents are available.

Security is crucial to Ziegler and a number of other Northwoods Software clients that work under stringent government regulations. That security is not just to prevent outsiders from gaining access to sensitive and proprietary information. It's also to keep information within the right hands internally.

To promote use of the site, Ziegler had Northwoods Software incorporate personalization tools into the coding. So, along with a variety of Ziegler work tools, the intranet also allows users to personalize their start pages, selecting favorite links and adding features they find interesting or useful to their particular jobs.
