Titan Content Management / Portal V4.3 is built using Microsoft .Net 2.0 and SQL 2005 (Express through Enterprise).
Titan peacefully co-exists with other applications on a shared server. If you expect a lot of traffic, a dedicated server is suggested.
If you plan to host Titan internally on your company's existing hardware, you are free to use these server(s) for any other purpose. Of course, dedicated servers are always best, but it is not a requirement.
SQL 2005 Express Edition with Advanced Services is the supported version of SQL Express. Go directly to the SQL Express download to just get the file.

- 2 processors - 2.0 GHz or higher
- 4G RAM
- 2 RAID5 disk arrays 36G or greater.
- First array is for the Windows, IIS, and Titan application components and services
- Second array is for SQL databases.
- Standard network interface cards supported
- 2 processors - 2.0 GHz or higher
- 2G RAM Minimum (4G is better)
- 2 - RAID5 disk arrays.
- First array should be at least 36G, and will be used for Windows, SQL system files, AD/AM database, and library files such as DOCs, PDFs and XLSs.
- Second array should be at least 36G. and will be used for the SQL data files.
- High speed network interface recommended (for internal high-performance connectivity between servers)
- 2 processors - 2.0 GHz or higher
- 2G RAM
- 1 - RAID1 or a RAID5 disk array which will host the Windows, & Titan CMS components and services. The RAID array should be at least 36G
- High speed network interface recommended (for internal high-performance connectivity between servers)
- 2 processors - 2.0 GHz or higher
- 2G RAM Minimum (4G is better)
- 1 - RAID5 array for the operating system and SQL databases. The RAID array should be at least 36G
- High speed network interface recommended (for internal high-performance connectivity between servers)
- 2 processors - 2.0 GHz or higher
- 2G RAM
- 1 - RAID5 array which will host the operating system & program code. The RAID array should be at least 20G.
- High speed network interface recommended (for internal high-performance connectivity between servers)
- 2 processors - 2.0 GHz or higher
- 1G RAM
- 3 - RAID5 arrays, one for the operating system and active directory database, one for the active directory logging and one for Library Files such as PDFs and XLSs). 20G usable space should be more than enough for the first two arrays. The third array should be calculated based upon the amount of external files you wish to server up (PDFs, XLSs, etc.). As well, it would be safe to increase the disk space for future growth.
