Client: Snap-on Business Solutions Client Profile Snap – on Business Solutions is the World's leading solutions provider for electronic parts and aftersale business performance and improvement data.  One competency is the development and maintenance of software that automakers use for displaying and promoting auto accessories at dealerships Business Issue and Objectives Snap-on Business Solution has maintained aftermarket parts information for Chrysler and it's 300 dealerships. The previous solution was desktop based and required refreshed data to be distributed by CD to over 300 dealerships each month.  This methodology was  very costly and time intensive. Solution The solution to eliminate the cost and time associated with a CD based solution was to build Chrysler Web EASy.   This appliction supports web delivered data not just for dealerships but also for consumers to shop for and order accessories. The project dictated web development distributed amongst a number of teams throughout the world. Northwoods was the glue that brought the team together by providing technical leadership, site design and project management. Results and Savings Today, Chrysler Web EASy is a viable site, receiving traffic each day from all over the world. The site has been architected so that it can be re-used for other auto makers and Snap-on Business Solutioins is busy taking the product to auto manufacturers globally.
