(February 2019) – Northwoods Web Solutions is thrilled to welcome two new digital professionals, Amy Kant and Brett Smoot.

For the past four years, Kant has been the Webmaster at Milwaukee Public Schools and has a total of 15 years of digital marketing, communications, social media and design experience. Some of that time includes being an online producer and social media manager for WITI-TV FOX 6 News in Milwaukee. Her passions include developing enterprise content management system training and education courses and helping clients solve complex digital problems. “After partnering and learning from Northwoods for five years as a client, I am thrilled to join the team. I am thankful for the opportunity to work for a company that cares for its employees and empowers them to think out of the box,” Kant said. Kant is looking forward to reimagining Northwoods’ approach to client training and support for the Northwoods Titan CMS content management system through the development of videos and an online training portal.
Smoot joins the Northwoods team from the manufacturing sector, where he worked as a digital marketer overseeing multiple brand websites and a wide variety of digital marketing projects for a multi-national manufacturer. “The constantly changing landscape is what pulled me into digital account management and marketing and continues to drive me forward in my career. I am excited to work with a wide range of clients across many different industries and help them navigate the ever-changing landscape.” Smoot said. Smoot has a talent for taking a deep dive into data and finding the key information to help optimize a website or campaign, as well as anticipate risk associated with any short-term or long-term digital project.
Northwoods Web Solutions continues to experience an increase in demand for strategic digital management consulting as well as support for Titan CMS, which has seen an uptick in adoption in a variety of B2B and B2C industries.
