OCT. 2 ,2017 – Fred Pike, a Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer of Northwoods Web Solutions, has been selected as one of 10 World Class Instructors for ConversionXL.com’s “Become a Digital Analyst in 12 Weeks” certification class held by ConversionXL’s Institute.
The 12-week course offers in-depth trainings on Google’s suite of digital analytics tools with a combination of live online lessons and pre-recorded videos taught by industry experts, including Simo Ahava, Senior Data Advocate for Reaktor and a Google Developer Expert, Peep Laja, Founder of CXL and Yehoshua Coren, CEO of Analytics Ninja.
“The class pairs groups of five people with an industry mentor. It’s a well-rounded course because it also dives deeply into the Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Optimize, Google Attribution, and Google Tag Manager, so enrollees will have a great understanding of how to analyze and utilize the website data,” Pike said.

The deadline to register for the “Become A Digital Analyst in 12 Weeks” online course was Sept. 30, 2017. It starts on Oct. 4, 2017 costs $3,900 upon registration or three monthly installments of $1,500. The class will require an estimated 10 to 15 hours of study per week.
Pike, who has always gravitated towards numbers and data, was introduced to Google Analytics shortly after he joined Northwoods Web Solutions in 2004. He went on to receive separate certifications in Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and Conversion Optimization. In addition, he has been teaching the “Introduction to Google Analytics” workshop at Northwoods Web Solutions since 2012.
He developed and recorded a course on “Using the Google Analytics API add-on with Google Sheets” in 2016. “There wasn’t one place to go to learn how to use the Google Analytics API,” he said, so he asked ConversionXL.com if he could teach a recorded course on the topic. They then approached him about doing a second and live course called “Excel For Marketers” in July 2017.
